Refractions of the Digital Self

This project explores how abstract human interiorities: fear, longing, contradiction, transcendence - are transmuted through the latent space of contemporary generative models. By prompting Midjourney with philosophical and affective concepts rather than literal scenes, the images reveal a visual archaeology of our shared digital unconscious. Each piece functions as a reflection of humanity refracted through an algorithmic substrate: an emergent map of psychosocial structure, symbolic residues, and collective emotional texture. These works are not illustrations, but diagnostics; portraits of the modern psyche as interpreted by an intelligent system trained on us.
